Tesla cars support Netflix and YouTube streaming

Once the authorities allow the car to completely drive itself, Tesla CEO Elon Musk thinks their cars will soon integrate the function of transmitting and broadcasting videos on them.

According to CNET, by allowing owners to stream Netflix and YouTube videos on a multimedia screen on a car, Tesla will turn their car into a mobile entertainment system. This not only happens when the car is parked but is also activated while on the move.

The report from Engadget said that owners of the Model 3 and upcoming models of the Model Y can experience the best in-car video, because these vehicles use the screen horizontally. On the other hand, the Model S and Model X have a vertically oriented screen … which is considered best if people want to watch videos shot in Portrait style.

Musk said that the upgrade will soon take place and the extensive deployment process may take place in August.
